  • Architecture and Civil engineering in real estate investment

Considering architecture and Civil engineering in real estate investment. Civil engineers and architects complement each other’s' work. An architect takes care of the design and shape of a building whereas a civil engineer takes care of the technical nitty-gritty like the strength of the building. Architecture is art; civil engineering is more about physics The primary focus of an architect remains on the aesthetic appearance of a building. Architecture is closely related to Civil Engineering, and as recently as a few decades ago, there were no architects as a separate profession at all. Properly implemented concepts of architecture ensure that a building is not just strong, but that it looks good and takes care of the comfort of the inhabitants as well. These are 18 of the most stubborn homeowners in the world! Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 8. Narita, Japan Farmers In Narita, Japan, a collection of farmers took umbrage to the fact that their lands happened to coincide with the exact place that the government wanted to construct an airport. Tempers flared and tensions reached an all-time high, resulting in the farmer’s attacking workers, ultimately resulting in several deaths. To this day, an uneasy truce exists around the airport. 7. Guangzhou, China Apartments Sometimes, though rarely, the indomitable will of those who refuse to sell actually overcomes the wheel of progress. This building in Guangzhou exasperated the construction company with their stubbornness so much that the highway was simply constructed around the building. Though the view is doubtless marred from how it used to be, at least the residents of this building can say they still have their home. 6. Speighalter’s Jewelry Store Though many of the world’s most famous home holdouts reside in China, occasionally even cheery old England will find a stalwart defender of property. Speighalter’s Jewelry Store in London has refused to sell its prime location for over 100 years and is now surrounded on all sides by the Wickham’s Department Store. 5. A Chinese Farmer Another day, another major Chinese highway planned to go right through someone’s farmland. Ye Tan and his wife, however, had other plans. They eventually held out and the road was constructed around their home in one of the few examples of a home holdout going well for those who live within. Today the road circles around their meager farm and the couple have a grim satisfaction from their accomplishment. 4. Chongqing, China Sometimes the owners of homes on prime property are less concerned about their house and more concerned with their wallet, such as this home in Chongqing. The owner, Yang Wu, had no problem selling his home – but he wanted more money! In the end, he only received a modest sum and the house was ultimately demolished. 3. Yichang, China In a brazen attempt to get a Chinese man to move out of his home, which sits on prime real estate in Yichang, a construction company built up the land around his home, effectively making his house resided in a hole in the ground. The water and electricity was eventually cut off to his home and he temporarily moved away. His resilience, however, proved strong and he moved back in shortly after. 2. The “Nail Grave” Sometimes, the property in question doesn’t even have a house built on it, like this plot of land in Japan. Instead, the owner of the land has family buried here, and felt that the selling of the land would be a desecration to their memory. This plot was dubbed the “nail grave.” 1. Yonjia Apartment Building In 2015, an apartment building in Yonjia, China refused to sell out to a company that hoped to build a road right through their home. The resilient property owners were steadfast, however, and the city spent $15 million dollars to construct a four-lane road around their building. Way to stick it to the man!

An awe-inspiring engineering feat, Dubai Palm Islands is definitely the largest artificial islands on earth. These Islands are three man made islands in the form of massive palm trees connected to the beaches of Dubai. The first island is the Palm Jumeirah, Jebel Ali Palm second and the third is the Palm Deira which is the biggest of them all. This artificial archipelago located off the coastline of United Arab Emirates in Persian Gulf. Dubai islands project was commissioned by Sheikh Mohammed in an effort to maximize beachfront property. Dubai's palm tree-shaped resort island on land built from the sea will contribute 120 km of beaches. Aside from the construction of the ambitious expansion, there is also the problem of constructing a mini city, which consists of 4,500 high-end residential homes, miles of roads, luxurious hotels and many amenities that will require basic human resources including electricity, safe drinking water and many more. This enormous project will position Dubai as one of the top tourist destinations in the world. I will tell you why these islands have appeared and that they must satisfy. Dubai is an emirate that open sea about 50 km (an estimate) and the sites required for building projects are on the beach. To view course and especially to "park" in front of the yacht's property or even assembly. Well when the beach was not available, and demand persists, the beach had invented. And it appeared artificial islands. Hence so sophisticated forms of the islands: they had to provide a larger opening to the ocean. This new concept quickly caught on. 'Only a' product 'high-end, the latest wrinkle in the most creative developers metropolis. A new source of land, location of the trick of the planet Earth! The job went, the two islands were settled immediately, with mixed development, spectacular, exorbitant, and finally in Dubai's specific style ... In parallel to the World archipelago started building and other projects are still on the drawing board Nakheel, developer. But crisis compels us to winter a little ... Where is the dream of similar islands: In Lebanon, wants to build a cedar shaped islands, the symbol of this country. Russia wants to try an island / an archipelago in Black in Sochi at the 2014 Olympics, at least that is speaking through the past years. Also in Japan there are several large airports built on artificial islands. The Palm Islands are artificial peninsulas constructed of sand dredged from the bottom of the Persian Gulf by the Belgian company Jan De Nul and the Dutch company Van Oord. The sand is sprayed by the dredging ships, which are guided by DGPS, onto the required area in a process known as rain-bowing because of the arcs in the air when the sand is sprayed. The outer edge of each Palm's encircling crescent is a large rock breakwater. The breakwater of the Palm Jumeirah has over seven million tons of rock. The Palm Islands are an artificial archipelago (islands) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Major commercial and residential infrastructures will be constructed by Nakheel Properties, a property developer in The UAE. The Belgian and Dutch dredging and marine contractors, Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's specialists in land reclamation, were hired to complete construction. The islands are the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira. Each settlement will be in the shape of a palm tree, topped with a crescent. The settlements will have a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centers. The Palm Islands are located off the coast of The UAE in the Persian Gulf and will add 520 kilometers of beaches to the city of Dubai. The first two islands will comprise of approximately 100 million cubic meters of rock and sand. The Palm Deira will be composed of approximately one billion cubic meters of rock and sand. All materials will be quarried in The UAE. Among the three islands, there will be over 100 luxury hotels, exclusive residential beach side villas and apartments, marinas, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, sports facilities and health spas. The creation of the Palm Jumeirah began in June 2001. Shortly after, the Palm Jebel Ali was announced and reclamation work began. The Palm Deira is planned to have a surface area of 46.35 square kilometers and was announced for development in October 2004. GC Privé ~ A world of luxury www.gcprive.com

A civil engineer need not bother about the looks, design, in-house lighting, greenery, and other things when an architect is around. That leaves him with the primary job of making a building stable and strong. Other than mastering the concepts of architecture, an architect is supposed to have a basic knowledge of structural engineering as well. When it is a matter of choosing a career in the field of civil engineering or architecture, one has to know the basic differences between the two which includes the difference of working environments, career scope, core subjects and future prospects in these two fields. Though these fields are similar in many aspects but there are differences which makes them unique and individual fields. The nature of civil engineering is more mathematical and thus detailed structural designs, structural analysis, construction and maintenance is the responsibility of a civil engineer. On the other hand, the nature of architecture is more artistic and towards the utilization of space to produce a good architectural design (A Plan or A Map or A Drawing) simultaneously keeping high aesthetic value, compatibility with building bye-laws and ekistics’ principles. There are scientific principles involved but not as much as those are involved in civil engineering. Note: This video is just indicative, for a basic knowledge and is not all complete in any sense. One can find more varieties in projects, activities, posts, courses/programs and scope than written here. https://web.facebook.com/Efficacyconstructioncompany/ http://efficacyconstruction.com https://twitter.com/Efficacyccltd

WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU is often the last question you will be asked in an interview. Prepare for it. This is your chance to restate the skills you possess that are most relevant to the position and to summarize your other qualities that make you the perfect person for the job, and that's why they should hire you. Outline your answer before you go in, so that you can answer clearly, concisely, and with confidence. Your answer should be short and to the point. It should reflect your professional background as it relates to current needs and problems of the position. Review the job description and tell how you are the right person for the job by matching up your skill set with each bullet point of the job description. In formulating your answer as to why they should hire you, be sure to address these areas: 1. Determine their goals for the position. This should come up during your research into the company and the position. If possible, talk to others who work for the company. If you are unclear on this point, include it in the questions you ask at the interview and be prepared to incorporate it into your answer. 2. Show you have the skills needed for the job. Based on the goals you have identified in step one, determine how your skills and experience support those goals. If necessary, refer back to your list of skills.
